“Todos los fuegos el fuego” takes its title from the book of the same name by Julio Cortázar. In the stories that make up this book, the theme revolves around the idea of the double and the splitting of the self. Thus, here the fire, encapsulated in a sort of bubbles or drops, separates from itself, the visual components reacting to the sound. On the one hand, a mesh sphere responds to the audio generated by the writing of the definitions of fire (1. flame, 2. match, 3. shot, 4. fireworks). Behind it, a sphere playing a video of flames struggles to remain stable while being forced to split by responding to the audio composed of the sounds corresponding to these four definitions of fire.
